The ground floor, with vehicles and trucks, is the garage of the museum.

The various devices, the oldest dated from the 18th century, are highlighted on a gravel pad and kept out of reach by a rope barrier with poles made by various mobile restored columns.

By taking the stairs, you will find yourself on the first floor, in the heart of the museum, where pumps, helmets, fire suits and projection room await you.

Particularity of the place:

The mezzanine floor is magnified by the warm color reflected by the timber in which it is integrated. As you walk its surface, you will find that it is made from engraved plates full names of active and retired staff of the SIS. Thus a path is created through the fire extinguishers, chariots and reconstructed scenes.
